Then enlighten us as to why YOUR understanding of "French motives" is more accurate than mine.

Do you follow French media in their own language? Do you watch French TV, notably interviews with the very people who were jailed for the said Mc Donalds bombings? Do you talk to French people at all, to learn a bit about what their "motives" might possibly be?

Well, I do.

My point, which you didn't in any way counter, was the absurdity of DB's statement.

Possibly because it wasn't.

And I "countered" the absurdity of your "examples", on which, I suppose, your assertion about the "absurdity of DB's statement" was based.

Do you have an answer to any of those or not?
