You're right, that last spring I wasn't ready to buy as I was getting over sticker shock, and then in the summer I was anticipating a softening.

Now I'm beginning to think that certain perennial "desireable towns" ( like Ridgewood) aren't likely to drop significantly w/o major interest rate increases. The old suppy/demand scenario.

Certainly by limiting myself to one or two towns I am going to pay more than I would, but I believe these towns are more likely to hold their value, let alone, being what the wife wants.
