I was very excited about Expose but I've found that Windowshade X is better for me.

I decided to start using Expose by enabling it at the screen corners. I knew I would hit those corners a lot by accident and cause a lot of disruptions, but I figured it was the only way to really get use to using it. Now I find it is indispensable and, for me, far better than OS9 Windowshades ever was because I can go directly to any window without having to find and determine which rolled-up shade is the window I'm looking for, and then having to un-roll it. Once I got use to using Expose actuated at the corners, there is no faster way for me to navigate my desktop. Clearing the desktop of windows with a bump to my lower right corner is better for me than having a bunch of rolled-up shades cluttering the desktop.
