No, and in fact, I don't think getting rid of these would solve the problem. Certainly, it is a step in the right direction if we can do it. But the underlying cause has become cultural.

I've mentioned it several times here; but there was a piece on 60 minutes a year or so ago where they interviewed about six teenagers from a NYC Islamic school. ALL of them indicated they saw nothing wrong with suicide bombing, and some even indicated they might be a suicide bomber given the right circumstances, i.e., validating terrorism as a technique. This problem is deeply rooted in anti-Americanism, and can only be solved by giving these people a reason not to hate us. IMO.
