I had heard of such people, but never really believed they existed until now.

And I certainly never thought I would live to see the day when I would hear an argument about how well-travelled people lie in embassies, bring smallpox, and smash monuments (?!?!).

Really... I wonder if those of us who enjoy travelling to new places miss out on something by not being involved in any of the above, LOL.
