i blew out all my 10yr and 20yrs this morning. feels like i dodged a bullet.

with EVERYBODY forecasting higher rates (48 out of 50 economists surveyed by WSJ forecast higher rates--when was the last time 48 out of 50 economists were right about ANYTHING?), i like the contrarian nature of the bond bull trade. fundamentally, i want "real bad" to believe the arguments of the bond bulls, but at the same time, i am scared shihless by the volatility and the myriad inflationary factors. i decided there was no way i wanted to go into the weekend long. guess a bunch of others decided the same thing an hour or two later.
