As Doug has correctly pointed out on iHub, taking something away is far more difficult than not providing it in the first place.

At iHub, we all talked very extensively about whether or not to even include quotes on the site. The general consensus was that they'd be nice if they were free, but not necessary.

I don't have exact figures on how the two sites compare in terms of overall traffic, so I don't know how much traffic SI really gets or how much of that traffic is for reading messages and how much for using quotes, charts, and portfolios. I was shown those figures prior to acquiring it, and it seemed that message-reading gets the lion's share of the traffic.

Anyway, I think I've got the problem fixed with the development site not keeping people logged in.

How's the live version of SI been running today since its available horsepower got bumped 50%?
