Maybe it's too bad that Cap. Weinberger (Sec. of Defense, Reagan admin.) at the VERY LAST MINUTE cancelled our retalatory airstrikes (supposed to occur in co-ordination with the French airstrikes) against the Terrorist bombers and their Iranian and Syrian spy-masters who killed all those American and French Marines in Beruit.... (While the Reagan admin. wimped out, the French went ahead with their airstrikes... but without our planes and intelligence to target, their strikes were generally considered ineffective.) Many people claim that is the point when OBL started telling people we were a 'paper tiger'....
