Hamas, Hezbola and other terrorist organizations Hezbola [sic] is not a terrorist organization. It was a guerilla army formed in the early 1980s to drive Israel out of Lebanon. Over time, they became a broad ranging social organization aiding the poor Shiites in Southern Lebanon who are neglected by the fatcats in Beirut. Additionally, it is not necessarily wrong to support a group such as Hamas. Hamas is fighting the illegal occupation of their land by European colonialists. International law specifically sets aside such people from its rules about attacks on civilians, for obvious reasons. Tom
