Gold Stock Correction Update.

This is the correction I called for when I sold on DEC 2nd and said correction to mid late Jan. I was told this is not the time to sell. Now I'm being told this is not the time to buy by some of the same people?? Sell strength buy weakness.

I apologize to my American friends since I am charting the stocks on their primary exchange so some will be in $CDN.

Many of these producers have come back to touch their long term trendline and as an aggressive trader I can buy here and use the line as a stop loss.

Perhaps later this weekend I might have time to put up some charts of some smaller producers and some silver stocks.

Goldcorp, right on 3 year uptrend line. Watching the trading the last 2 weeks it looked to me like it was savaged by short sellers following betrayal by management. Could rebound quickly if it has found a bottom and I am right about large short position which could get squeeeeeezed on a Gold sector rebound.

Agnico, was already quite beat up so its held up well. The falling upper trendline projects to about $18. This looks to me like a big falling wedge and should be watched closely for a possible breakout to upside.

Placer Dome, take a sheet of paper a put it up to your screen to make the uptrend line, nuff said.

ASA, put a sheet under that uptrend and ask yourself with Gold over 400 is this a buy?

NEM is on PUT 2. One could say it is overbought and the multiyear upline is much lower. This is part of the problem IMO. 40 PE much higher than most other large producers. They like to overdo it in the USA dont they. Fits in with the rest of the Nasdaq. I dont own it.

Next 3 charts have a similar look which I just noticed tonight. I have Kinross but not the 2 SA stocks. Been thinking I need some SA exposure though. Maybe Kinross want to be an SA stock <G>

Kinross,
