<the administration is also considering reversing itself and allowing businesses in countries that opposed the war, including France, Germany and Russia, to bid on contracts to rebuild Iraq, officials said.>......My,my, how generous. Especially considering that Kellog Brown & Root (sub of Halliburton) was awarded a huge contract today. And that is on top of the no-bid contract awarded a couple of months ago. Its the old carrot on a stick trick.

UN moves in & take on the work load and Bushies move onto Syria or Iran? Who knows with this administration? They are not to be trusted.

The bottom line is that Bushs'/Cheneys' cronies will have been awarded all the contracts in the interim that it would take the UN to move into Iraq. Its a huge ruse.

<It's clear we want the United Nations to be involved," an administration official said. "It's clear the Iraqis want them. It's clear the security situation has improved, and we're willing to help with their security. But there are many stages we have to go through to get an agreement.>......The reference to officials is baffling to me. The names you never see attached to these statements are Bush, Cheney, Rove, Feith, Wolfowitz, Rumsfield, etc.. Its like they don't want to be associated or identified with those statements. As somebody said:"Be very, very careful and afraid.
