So being able to live a long, healthy life is a privilege, not a right?

certainly not a "right" constitutionally. Then end result of one's life is certainly influenced by much more than health insurance. Most factors are dependent results of personal choice.

However, there are no rights to long healthy lives or happiness if you care to toss that one in also.

Where are these "rights" of which you peak? Where are they recorded? Who or what guarantees these rights?

Perhaps I was incorrect in drawing the inference that you believed there is a right to live a long, healthy life
