twfowler,

I don't have a problem with helping poor farmers in 3rd world countries develop better ways to feed their own population, but I don't want to eat food grown anywhere but here in USA. Each country should take steps to provide those who grow their nation's food supply with family sustaining income. I realize there are exceptions for some food categories. For instance, if we want bananas they must be imported. However, the majority of U.S. food supply should be grown & processed right here. That's the point, average citizens on this globe do not agree with goal of those who are negotiating free trade. The multi-national corporations are pushing the plan for their own greedy benefit.
