I have put together a little something that shows every CDMA system deployed worldwide as wll as new systems that will be deployed over the next year or so.. Let me tell you, MOT has a HUGE CHUNK of the action. Now they have to deliver..... NT has been successful as of late as you indicated.... I'm wondering if a combination fixed / mobile solution is deemed MORE important to operators than just a fixed WLL that QCOM offers. Perhaps their systems are compatible but software varies from vendor to vendor and no one wants to deal with system integration problems. I have been looking at the press releases this year. Where will sales be this Q??? ASICS will be up slightly this Q compared to last Q......phone sales to China ($300 million contract over 3-4 years I think) and Bell Mobility ($70 million).....GTE has handsets from QCOM although I can't find a formal press release as to the dollar value of the contract. I'll go to GTE's site later...OmniTracs...who knows...I'll say flat.....with Marketing costs exploding this Q and royalties/license revenues possibly being flat due to the one time payments for multi-level contracts last Q. I'll post more later on today as to my thoughts on EPS this Q. We need some PRESS RELEASES INDICATING SALES OF NEW PHONES. Also, I would like to see DSO's decrease and the excess inventory cleared off the balance sheet by the end of the Q. If this occurred, the Q would be around $580 million and EPS....I'm still working on this one.... Good Luck - comments are appreciated DR
