I'd like to think that I couldn't be bought at any price but I'm not certain.

No need to buy - already sold on tax cuts. "Bought" is such a nasty word, for keeping my own money. :P

I don't know how either of you do it.

Rather easy. We certainly don't slight ourselves, that's for sure. We make a list of meals for the week, fill out a grocery list of what we need to make those meals, plus whatever extra stuff like sugar and condiments we are in need of restocking, and that's ALL we buy when we hit the store. Buy best cost where it doesn't affect quality. Buy paper products and bathroom supplies and stuff at Walmart, not the supermarket - big mark up. Don't impulse buy. No need for coupon clipping or any of that tedius nonsense. Of course, we aren't junk food eaters, so we save alot on not buying cartfulls of cookies, chips, and assorted garbage. You really can manage your costs, with a bit of planning.
