I was reading a Helen Thomas column, which I probably wouldn't have read had I noticed the author before I clicked, and found something I want to highlight. I won't post the whole column. No sense offending anyone's sensibilities so early in the morning. But here's a quote from O'Neil:

<<"For me, the notion of pre-emption - that the U.S. has the unilateral right to do whatever we decide to do - is a really huge leap," O'Neill said.>>

To all you hawks out there who don't understand the reticence some of us have about Iraq, this really is a big deal to us, a huge obstacle to get past.
