Now, if Iraq dissolves into a bubbling cauldron of ethnic strife, will there be apologies from those cute little republicans who told us it would be a beacon of democracy? I doubt it. I predict that according to the armchair humanitarian warriors it will be the Iraqi's fault for not embracing OUR vision for them- (not ours, for going in and destabilizing the place). I can't WAIT for that to happen. You heard it here first.

Gosh, too bad those dang Iraqis can't take advantage of the humanitarian invasion we launched:-( boo hoo hoo

If it actually goes well (a long shot), will they remember how easily it could have all gone wrong? No, they won't. In foreign policy you don't PLAY discretionary budget breaking long shots like this. It's WRONG. It's irresponsible- both fiscally, and an irresponsible waste of human life, which, imo, is what is really important. .
