After all, it was a Democrat-controlled Congress who passed
(and Clinton who signed) the law in 1994
called the "Violence Against Women Act"
that gave the courts the power to pry into the
consensual sexual behavior of any defendant
in a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Ken Starr was just using the tactics that Clinton himself
had empowered him to use. Of course, Clinton thought
this "weapon" would be used on his political opponents
before it would ever be used on him. Clinton was like
a terrorist who accidentally got injured by
his own bomb that he was planning to throw at others.
