It's a global economy now: as more overseas middle class come online, this increase in supply will create some deflationary wage pressures on the entry level middle class positions, over time. The only answer to that is to turn the middle class into investors.

Because they are investors.

They could put their investments into bonds.

As far as stocks go, the 400 people did good because of their investments.

Some type of index fund, could be an answer to the (valid) issue you bring up - over time index funds have done better than bonds.
