Prolife,

Reason it's considered poor taste in North to wear one's religion on their sleeve is because we are in fact a melting pot of many different religions. Therefore, our religion should be a personal thing. It's not in the American tradition to infer someone would make a better president because he's a Christian. It's just not true. I don't believe in political correctness but our parents admonition not to discuss politics or religion comes to mind. I've always said it would make for a boring life if we did not discuss both those topics, but that does not mean we should as Americans ever indicate that one religion is better than another. Toleration of our differences is the ingredient that has made America as great as it has been in past.
