I can't address the rightness or wrongness of the Palestinians claims, because I happen to think that pretty much every country in the ME is royally F*cked up, and they've all done nasty shit, by my standards, but it's quite clear they think they are THE dispossessed, and the Jews also think THEY are- so you've got two competing claims for the "I'm the biggest martyr" award. I'm not sure there is a solution to that one. Maybe when one of them launches a nuke, and the other one launches one back, and the whole ME is a pile of radioactive rubble there will be peace in the ME, but until then, I doubt it. Attacking art exhibits in Scandinavia seems ludicrous given the real problems in the ME- but then the ME is the land of the ludicrous, which is why we are "liberating" parts of it, via preemptive invasion- we are killing for humanity. Given that we are doing that, it's difficult to criticize a crazed Israeli at an art exhibit- but still, it CAN be done. |
