Let me net out what you just said...Bush is a political beast who sells the best interests of the American people to buy favor from his political enemies. In reality you have it wrong.

I said nothing of the sort. Certainly, Bush is the least political "beast" we've had as president in many years. But more importantly, his efforts were attempts to unite the parties. He was naive, IMO, in that the Democrats are simply seeking power and don't give a crap about the country. So, if you truly "net out" what I said, you will conclude that Bush made the mistake of trying to negotiate with the liberals.
