Well, unfortunately for Philly fans, heart can only overcome and mask deficiencies for so long.
Whether injuries or deficiencies on both sides of the ball; we were only able to overcome them all season by not turning over the ball.
14 turnovers in previous 14 games .... yesterday 4 turnovers on offense and defense forced 0 although the defense did play well enough to keep them in the game.
Will be an interesting offseason; of course, Philly being Philly today, they're ready to lynch Reid, Reid's dog, McNabb, McNabb's mom; you name it, you're more than fair game. The side of Philly fans, I don't enjoy in the least.
Reid has his work cut for him; it's obvious he needs to surround McNabb with some play makers. He has Westbrook and that's it.
He has to address the "leaders" leaving in the offseason ... Vincent, Taylor, Eammons, Staley ... will be interesting to see how he handles these situations.
Congratulations to the Panthers and Patriots; hopefully, we get a good SB game.
