thanks to everyone that that responded and discussed the publications.. i have a lifetime subscription to OM (thanks Claude) and been subscribing to Jim Steel since before he began MI. recently i signed up for EC also. i would also pony up whatever Russ Winter would charge for mining news letter. and over the years i've taken Bishop, Casey and a few i others. so getting recommendations isn't really what i was after, since i get plenty. thanks to all of you i even get hints here on this thread for mining companies. (thanks to whoever it was that posted "SUR has the goods" here, as i got in at 32 canadian cents on that one). since i get so many good recommendations i thought i'd like to try to follow the latest mining news, without anyone trying to give me a recommendation. i'm starting to lean towards Northern Miner for that. As EC said, their archives could be very helpful. thanks for all the help and good ideas. you guys are the best... -gru
