Your remark indicated that there was some faulty thinking in my response to laz... What is it you are referring to? Not faulty thinking in the argument. I wasn't paying any attention to the argument. I just spotted a potentially volatile misuse and misunderstanding of a word. "Establishment of religion" connotes establishment by the GOVERNMENT of a state religion. Using the word for the formation or adoption by CITIZENS of a religion of their choice is a misuse of the word. "Establishment" in that context means exactly the opposite of what you're describing. It's like you've been saying "the crowd saw an attack on a woman and ran over to "murder" her" when you mean that they were trying to save her from dying.
