NeoCons vs Sistani --- I'd put my money on the cleric at this particular point in time. He knows the lay of the land and is already pushing entire governments around.

Rumor was that Wolfowitz is headed for the door but that might just be some beltway optimists thinking.

Anyone else think there are very quiet backdoor negotiations going on with Sistani's group and the CPA? I mean, for something even more substantial than elections.

Maybe Halliburton and Bechtel will be involved. Just a cynical guess :)
