There's the AWOL coward, SHRUB, and the CIC, BUSH. One is real, the other is a symbol.

I can certainly see those in uniform having respect for the symbol. If they also respect the man after his going AWOL UNLIKE THEM and his lying to the American Public, well, it takes all kinds with all kinds of opinions.

Why don't you pick someone who actually has a distinguished military record? You can still support Clark or Kerry.
