I agree that Gore should not have publicly endorsed ANYone early on...He should have let the horse race begin... Clinton is a smarter politician and has stayed behind the scenes so far...Yet, he will work hard to insure that the Dems have a strong nominee who wins back The White House. Dean is a good man BUT he sounds like an angry politician as he talks to his supporters in Iowa -- he needs to be much more disciplined (like Clark, Kerry or Edwards who all sound presidential)...It comes down to electability...My friends I used to work with from Des Moines told me over the weekend that Kerry really has impressed them and they are voting for experience and seasoned leadership -- someone who can defeat Bush...It will be interesting to see how all this plays out in NH and down South. -s2
