Monday January 19, 4:00 am ET

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 2004--T-Com, the fixed network division of Deutsche Telekom AG, has awarded Siemens the order to upgrade its central internet node with T640 routers from Juniper Networks. This now also makes Siemens a system partner for expanding T-Com's core network. Alongside their performance and high availability, the scalability of the routers and Siemens' proven track record in integrating and implementing IP-based network solutions were the determining factors for T-Com deciding in favor of the overall solution.
