a correlation between speed and accidents and death regardless of the car and road

You might like to take a look at Germany, where there are no speed limits on highways.

I don't recall the exact numbers, but I remember seeing a study that shows accidents on German highways are much lower than most other countries.

"If you like the weather, you will LOVE the food." A recheck last May showed no improvement

And another check this past New Year's Eve also showed no improvement. We did not see the sun for an entire week. The sky was so gray that we couldn't even tell WHERE the sun was. And the food was ghastly, as usual, although we did pay more than GBP 500 for a dinner for 4 at the oxo tower or whatever it is called...

the biggest determinant of accidents between cars is speed difference

Truer words never said, which is why I suggest the moron who decreased the speed limit from 110 km/hr and 90 km/hr (at tunnels etc) to 90km/hr and 70km/hr should be burnt at the stake.

Also, he is solely responsible for me not adhering to the speed limit. Before, I genuinely made an effort to drive under 110 km/hr, although it pained me. Now, there is no way I will drive under 70 km/hr ON A HIGHWAY and so I drive above 150 km/hr or so.

There you go :-)
