Yep, the dancing is finally over and the kissing has started.

If my memory serves me right, Cingular had not yet announced a WCDMA migration, preferring to go with EDGE for the time being, which is of course consistent with AWE's plans.

With Verizon going DO, and providing higher speeds than EDGE [I know that speed is only one consideration], do you think that there is any chance that the new Cingular/AWE entity might go DO in response to Verizon's anticipated publicity that Cingular offers crummy second-rate slow technology? I would think that the biz's difficulties with WCDMA might very well play a part in whatever decision Cingular makes, if it has not in fact made one already.
