Josh: My Wheaten is very special. Note this sentence in the writeup you referenced:
Ten years later, the O'Connor family of Brooklyn
imported a dog from Maureen Holmes, one of the most influential Irish
breeders of SCWTs.

I imported my dog directly from Ms. Holmes line of breeding. She is deceased now, but her secretary now runs the operation. Ms. Holmes is generally credited with saving the breed from extinction. Her dogs are very special as no inbreeding was allowed. Thus my dog is bigger and stronger then the typical wheaten you find in the USA. Everything that is in that writeup you posted is very accurate. Not only will they herd sheep, they will herd PEOPLE. haha. Most intelligent dog I have ever owned. I swear he understands English perfectly. Yes, I take him everywhere I go, he is absolutely insistent to always be by my side. Very loyal. As to strength, he can snap a cow leg bone (the kind you use for soup bones) with one mighty bite.
We have had people come as far as from England to look at our dog, and all have said he was the strongest Wheaten they had ever seen. jdn
