I caught it out of Cabo san Lucas on the tip of the Baja. Rode a horse across the Baja from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific Ocean on that trip. It's pretty narrow in that area. I got the mount from Pfleuger out of Florida. The boat owner charged me $200 to prepare it to be mounted and that was a joke. He sold the fish to several families of Mexicans in that area. Local scam. Now they'd probably lynch you for bringing a Marlin to the dock. All catch and release. They run million dollar billfish tournaments out of there now.
