Kerry hasn't spoken about Nam in 30 some years. It's only come out this year. Other people do the talking about it. However I spoke to him about it personally. I urged him to use it a la PT-109 reminding him JFK's only claim to heroism was getting run over by a Japanese destroyer. The two men whose lives he saved make the GOP look like real chickenhawks. Bush went AWOL and ran away from Nam. Big difference between the two men even though they were at Yale at the same time.
