I understand basic trade. Unfair trade is what many Americans don't understand. They can't understand why their President signs trade agreements that ultimately throw them out of work. Allowing the outsourcing of large numbers of American jobs is also a hangup for many Americans especially the unemployed. Average citizens are supposed to quietly understand that they are the sacrificial lambs on the altar of free trade which multi-national companies crave for additional wealth.
Those same patriotic-neutral corporations must understand that voters will protect their own self-interests as well by voting against the corps favorite candidate.
