In reaction, the tortured expressions of a Ted Kennedy or Hillary Clinton

I couldn't help but notice a sense of loss emanating from Kennedy, his side-to-side headshaking marking him as an end-game loser, his rich boy's near-socialist dreams broken by a political tide that has made him and his family, except for the news-worthiness of an occassional scandal, nearly irrelevant, all his expertise on health-care unused and unusable after the Medicare reforms.

Teddy seems increasingly disconnected from reality, his lunatic rant on Iraq being motivated by domestic political consideratins being the latest indicator.

Perhaps he looked like a loser because he was suffering a hangover.

What a contrast from his dead brothers. I would have followed RFK to the gates of hell; a pragmatic man of the times who would have been a tremendous President.

Hillary still has legs, though I don't trust her political peregrinations as far as I can throw them. I loved the dig W made at her concerning health care delivery not properly being a governmental activity, though I doubt too many noticed it. If I had been in charge of the TV cameras, I would haved trained them on her when the dig was delivered.
