"I would have followed RFK to the gates of hell; a pragmatic man of the times who would have been a tremendous President."

C2,
ME TOO! If he had lived to beat nixon it 1968 what differences would there be in todays world. I have often asked myself this question but never bothered to answer it. Of all the assasinations in that era, the death of RFK was the greatest blow. I loved the guy because he had the ability to grow like a flower right in front of you. No pol before or after even comes close. I still remember him upbraiding medical students of privelige for avoiding service or searing pics of him in shantytowns in mississipi holding black babies no dignified man of the times would touch. I remember being this close to him at a rally and looking into his steely blue eyes. He had the demeanor of a catholic, the world view of a social reformer who could make things happen and the ferocity needed to defend america at all costs against all enemies. Mike
