Osprey's Bayout Choctaw production reaches 120 boe/d Osprey Energy Ltd (2) OEL Shares issued 14,007,727 Jan 20 close $0.16 Wed 21 Jan 2004 News Release Mr. Bernard Robichaux reports Osprey Energy, as a result of workovers on the Bayou Choctaw field, should have four wells with a total production of at least 120 barrels per day equivalent by the end of the week. The company intends to bring an additional five or six Bayou Choctaw field wells into production over the next several months. On Dec. 30, the company's annual general meeting approved the repricing of all outstanding options under the stock option plan from 40 cents to 25 cents. That plan, which was approved by the annual general meeting in December, 2002, authorized the company to grant up to 2.5 million options. The meeting also re-elected Bernard P. Robichaux, Gerald Sine, Mark Dempsey and John Longman to the board of directors. John MacDonald was also elected to the board and designated chairman. Today, the company has granted 280,000 common share purchase options exercisable at 15 cents until Jan. 20, 2005, for financial consulting services.
