I'm still a little unclear on what counts as "supporting our troops" and what counts as "not supporting our troops."

Clearly, advocating increases in benefits to our soldiers and their families, or making donations to organizations that help soldiers and their families, is supporting our troops. Also, making donations directly to soldiers is supporting our troops.

Outside of those three things, however, I don't see how one can "support our troops" or "not support our troops."

I don't think putting an "I Support Our Troops!" bumper sticker on your car counts as support, given that doing so provides no benefit whatsoever to our soldiers.
