Thanks for that great analysis of the NH Democratic primary.

Sharpton is quite a kick. He is quite a good speaker and is "fast on his feet" with the humor. Of course he isn't a viable candidate but I do think he adds something to the debate!! SOme of his remarks are tantalizingly funny. I recall one remark about wanting to chase Kerry's wife around that almost brought down the house with laughter! When Kerry's turn came up to tell what he wished to do he said he had better keep his eye on SHarpton..........the whole exchange was very funny but I am not doing it justice in this written description.

I am still watching the field with an open mind but am beginning to lean more toward Kerry.

Dean was my choice for the last few months because he dared to stand up against the Iraq invasion...something the others refused to do. However, I now have to admit we need a candidate that is more central on that issue and Kerry can probably play that out better than anyone due to his military background.

We may think that Kerry can stand up well next to Bush but Bush's handlers will be working hard to keep that from happening. I doubt seriously that any one on one debates with exchanges between the two candidates will take place. Instead, each will have to answer to a commentator like the Gore/ Bush debates.

The "liberal biased press" sure has beaten up on the most liberal candidate of them all!!! If ever there was a time when that myth could be "outed" as obviously false; it is now, with the repeated thrashing of the Dean image. The networks played that excerpt of him shouting many times..........I was cringing for him.
