I think I used the version with Windowshade for over a year before I even found it. Didn't use it much after that. Face it. The concept is just a little clumsy in an desktop metaphor with overlapping windows. Some people just get stuck on something and don't want to give it up. I think they call the character trait, "Averse to Change." - HerbVic

Well, just goes to show your needs are not identical to mine. I'm not at all averse to change. Quite the contrary. I'm a photographer and very, very often -- like daily -- I have to open a boatload of files and compare them for editing purposes. Now, without Windowshade I can do it but it's a major pain in the rear end. With Windowshade I can quickly compare two *overlapping* images with a quick double click toggle. Yes, I could compare them side by side but sometimes that is not the way for me to go. Mostly it's not the way to go. I NEED Windowshade. It's not a luxury for me, or any other neurotic need to hold on to the past. WIndowshade is simply critical to my work.

And I adore it in combination with Expose´. Killer combo.

Face it. Others have needs not identical to your own.
