Hi My friend!!-This market has got me stymied and I am almost to indecisive to move..Your advice is greatly appreciated. Should we just hang loose in cash if another decent rally does not materialize?-I missed the early morning rally of the dow..I overslept for the first time in a long time!-Market opens at 6:30am pst.-I was hoping to see a big afternoon rally so I could load up on puts!!

BTW-The XDSL companies are about to have some deployment announcements according to some of my more informed E-mail friends tell me.-AMTX is looking very strong and an announcement may push it to $20 from the $13.50 range it is in now!!-Big GTE contract has been rumored foe quite some time and BCTEL of Canada just announced recently they are using AMTX modems and this is significant as BCTEL is 51% owned by GTE!!...GTE has been sending out S.Cal questionaires asking about costumers opinions on their need for bigger bandwidth...They have stated that they will start the ADSL rollout in the US this fall but have not announced vendors!!AMTX and WSTL are the only vendors whose products they have tested at all...They have a big trial at MSFT in Washington for their mngmt types and some of the bigwigs at MSFT have made statements like "you will have to kill me to get that Modem away from me"!!-These modems are capable of transferring data more than 100 times faster than the existing 56k high end modems....Up to 8MBS for the AMTX Allegro!!-We are talking millions of bytes per second now instead of kilobytes!!
