One thing for sure from your chart, HPQ sure looks dirt cheap on a price/sales basis.

That's because 1/2 of HPQ's sales (PCs and enterprise hardware) make zero profits, so they get zero valuation worth from investors. If you count only the sales of the profitable divisions (Printing and IT services) then the price to sales is ~2.0x, similar to Dell, LXK and IBM.

GTW is the cheap one on price to sales! When you add back cash to market cap, GTW's price to trailing sales is ~0.1x, and that's because they don't have any profits....
