Brooks Automation's Factory Automation Execution Software -- Activity Manager -- Purchased by ProMOS for Full-Implementation to Automate 300mm Line Thursday January 22, 9:00 am ET
CHELMSFORD, Mass., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brooks Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRKS - News), which creates manufacturing efficiency for the semiconductor and other complex manufacturing industries, today announced that ProMOS Technologies, Inc., a top DRAM manufacturer in Taiwan, has chosen Brooks' Activity Manager product for its 300mm fab full-automation roll-out. Brooks will act as the prime contractor for the implementation and integration of the full automation solution, which includes the Brooks 300works(TM) MES solution, the Brooks Real-Time Dispatcher(TM) (RTD), and third party equipment integration (EI) and MCS applications. Activity Manager delivers automated job and exception management coordination across the various software and automation systems in a factory. The Brooks Activity Manager product provides the foundation to continually improve operational efficiency by utilizing experience and decision making technology.
