CLARK BLAMES PRO-WAR COMMENTS ON ALTER EGO

Retired General and Presidential hopeful,
Wesley Clark, told supporters in New Hampshire that
he never made contradictory statements about supporting
the war in Iraq. "I never supported the war, never
said that I supported the war, and never will support
the war. But, if I had supported it, and if I had been
President, then I would have handled it perfectly
and we would not be in the mess we're in today."

When questioned about what he would have done differently,
Clark retorted, "I never said I would have invaded
Iraq or that I would have been successful in the effort,
though I would have succeeded. If you've heard me say
any different, it's probably that doppelganger, freaky
alter ego guy who's been shadowing me around the
country, but you don't want to go there...."
