I have been following F5 very closely since 1999. The stock is incredibly volatile with a very small float. Management should have initiated a stock split when it hit a high of 160 in 1999. F5 hit a low of 3 1/2 in either late 2000 or 2001.

The 28-32 level was the area of major technical resistance. If that breaks decisively (and it appears it will), the next area of major resistance is around the 88-92 level. Yes, there are small pockets of resistance along the way, but I am merely pointing out the major resistance points.

F5 accelerated very quickly in 1999 (with violent corrections)once the 32 level was broken.

Fundamentally speaking, F5 looks very strong here. That was quite an upside earnings surprise, accompanied by good revenue growth.

Disclosure:

Long the technical breakout of 32 a couple of days ago.
