Your bolding is curiously selective, Don. For the record, I somewhat take your point about Clark and military endorsements, but compared to W's dubious service record and his 2000 SC primary trashing of the genuinely heroic McCain, Clark looks ok.

I think Clark's lack of any conventional political experience is actually a much bigger drawback than his service record. Politicians got to know how to deal with having a lot of crap thrown at them these days, and I'm not sure how Clark would bear up. With Kerry getting traction now, it's all probably moot.
