I have a computer that my son uses primarily for gaming. Currently it runs on WIN 98 but I am told I should upgrade to a different OS due to some conflict it is having with the motherboard (causes it to lock up occasionally).

I would like to take the opportunity to upgrade the OS on my other 2 computers at home. Will WIN XP let me do that or should I go with ME? I have heard that XP's "security" features won't allow you to use it on more than one computer. Is that true?

Thanks.
