You do realize that dollar denominated assets are often held in US banks, rather than "repatriated" to the corporate base. Thus, a lot of the "deficit dollars" are actually backing loans through our banks. I could be wrong, but I imagine it is unusual for dollars to be out of play for very long, at least to the extent that they are on deposit in our major banks...........
