I have not checked recently, but I remember back in May (I think) that Oppenheimer initiated coverage on Memco with either a "strong buy" or "buy" rating. The text below comes from a press release on May 19 about a new product offering by Memco, and a strategic partnership with New D. Notice that the "core technology" for Memco's product is New D's Control-SA software:
-----------------------------------------------------
As a key component to Proxima, MEMCO has expanded its partnership
with EagleEye Control Software (a fully owned subsidiary of New
Dimension Software) and has licensed the MultiPlatform
Control-SA(TM) product. Control-SA is the premier solution for
centralized user and resource management for a variety of
applications and platforms--from desktops to mainframes. MEMCO
will utilize Control-SA as the core technology for the Proxima
Manager product under a private-label OEM relationship. "We are
pleased to be working with MEMCO Software to deploy MultiPlatform
Control-SA in conjunction with Proxima SSO," commented
Zohar Pearl, vice president of sales and marketing at EagleEye
Control Software. "By licensing and integrating Control-SA into
the Proxima suite, MEMCO can provide customers with a
comprehensive and complete solution."
-----------------------------------------------------
So, if you put two and two together, Memco must sell our product if they are to succeed with their own product. And, Oppenheimer must have strong faith in Memco to put a buy or strong buy rating on them. Thus one can conclude that New D should realize decent revenues from the Memco relationship. This is yet another plus, and another reason to own New D shares.
